The sample describes a language teaching activity for ESL Students and how it can be implemented in the classroom. Through the use of “Where I’m From” poems, students would be able to practice writing, reading, and speaking in a second language while also gaining experience in the creative writing format. This sample was written for a Teaching English as a Second Language course at Millersville University. 

The sample is an outline for a speaking activity for ESL students explaining the objectives of the lesson and the steps for each stage of the activity. The focus of the activity is based on real life scenarios, giving students a learning opportunity with relevance outside of an education setting. The sample was written for a Teaching ESL Speaking/Listening course at Millersville University.
